Position: Customer Service Representative

Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative’s role is to handle customer requests efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process incoming quotes, orders, modify existing orders or cancel orders via phone, email, and company website
- Provide estimated shipping costs
- Calculate pricing for custom orders
- Collect appropriate shipping information to ensure product arrives at the correct location and track delivery status
- Display knowledgeable of company products and pricing including custom orders
- Keep up to date on new products and promotions offered by the company
- Field customer questions and complaints and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns
- Be aware of accounts on hold that require payment on demand before shipping product
- Provide appropriate lead time for order completion
- Work closely with the sales and production department to ensure quality assurance
- Assist customers with in-person pick up’s
- Correspond directly with customers via phone and email
- Create and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Balance work to provide timely response/resolution with customers
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer complaints
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years in customer service role or similar experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk or the majority of the day while looking at a computer screen
- Use of hands/fingers to use the keyboard and computer mouse for most of the day
- Occasionally required to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
