Assistant Graphic Designer
55-year-old family-run business seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team conveniently located close to mass transit in the Bronx. Through our various brands, we specialize in producing innovative appliances for the foodservice, hospitality, residential, and medical markets.
The assistant graphic designer will be working in tandem with our senior graphic designer, staff photographer, digital marketing specialist, and copywriter to create content that connects with our customer base via digital and print platforms.
Responsibilities
● Create dynamic graphic content for social media, email campaigns, and website following brand guidelines
● Create sell sheets and print material for our products
● Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
● Collaborate with fellow designers, as well as the company’s sales team, to create customer-specific content including one-sheets, catalogs, PowerPoint trainings, and more
● Create and help manage the printing process as needed of select materials using the in-house Ricoh PROC7100 printer
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design or a related field
● Proficiency in design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, After Effects, and Illustrator
● Experience with Google Drive software and PowerPoint
● Minimum of two years experience in graphic design
● Must be highly creative, flexible, efficient, and detail-oriented
● Strong analytical skills
● Time management and organizational skills
● Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
● Experience with both print and digital media
● Video experience is a plus
● Experience with 3D modeling and motion graphics is a plus
Our work week is Monday to Friday with standard business hours and a business casual dress code. The assistant graphic designer will be working in our Bronx office alongside the marketing team.

Pay: $23-$25 an hour commensurate with education and experience.
