Staff Professional I Role
HPTA is looking for an energetic and passionate Staff Professional I to provide group and private lessons to students of varying ages and skill sets.
A HPTA Staff Professional I should be knowledgeable of different coaching methods and be able to motivate students, demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills both on and off the court.
The Staff Professional I will provide administrative, and tournament support when required, provide high-level customer service to clientele and perform all other tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Directors, COO, and CEO/Owner. The Staff Professional I will work directly with the HPTA Office Administrator/Manager, General Manager, Directors, COO and CEO/Owner. The Staff Professional I will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides timely and consistent client communication, which includes the following:
o Phone or email contact with clientele: replying within 48 hours.
o Regular and consistent check-ins with clientele and parents of clientele (if junior clientele). Building rapport with clientele.
- Cultivate participant relationships and integrate those members seamlessly into existing programming:
o New clientele
o Existing clientele
- Provides timely and consistent internal communication with HPTA Staff, Managers, Directors, COO, and CEO/Owner
- Assisting students in developing and improving various tennis and other racquet sports skills.
- Assessing students' tennis and other racquet sports skills to determine areas in need of improvement.
- Coordinating and conducting individual and group lessons.
- Developing suitable training programs for students based on their age, objectives, and individual skill sets.
- Developing innovative ways to assist students in learning and developing their individual skill sets.
- Identifying the learning styles that work best for each student and adapting all coaching methods accordingly.
- Providing a secure and productive learning environment for students.
- Scheduling meetings with students' parents or guardians to discuss their progress.
- Attending students' tennis matches, competitions, and tournaments as required.
- Attending weekly HPTA Status Meeting.
- Promptly reply to email and other inter-company communications such as “Google-Chat”, within 24 to 48 hours and as is reasonably needed based on the inter-company communication.
- Arrive on-time to group lessons (clinics) and private lessons. On-time is defined as 10 minutes prior to the start time of the group lessons (clinics) and private lessons.
- Available to arrive on-time to group lessons (clinics) and private lessons to any one of the different HPTA locations.
- Provide clinic communication as is required by and to Directors and Managers.
- Assist Directors and Managers in Program Maintenance, including:
- Session based Report Cards of ROG participants;
- Take attendance of clinics as Lead Pro at the completion of the work day, following the then Company CRM system and policies and procedures.
- From time-to-time, employee may be required to assist with the following administrative tasks:
- Additional administrative work for client/clinic communications.
- Cleaning of the courts, offices, storage areas or communal spaces.
- Assisting with tournaments.
- Assisting with Round Robins/Leagues.
- Assisting with Social Media presence and posts.
- Other tasks may be required or assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
