Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Engagement Specialist to join our team. As an Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with our clients and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on customer needs, communicate effectively, and drive sales through exceptional service.
DUTIES
- Represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner at all retail events, outside events, and on social media
- Immerse yourself in the company's mission, vision, and goals
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to educate customers, bud tenders, retailers, and distributors about our products via in-store demonstrations and company related events/parties
- Build rapport with customers, bud tenders and vendors
- Communicate trends, opportunities and feedback to the Sales and Marketing Managers at the weekly in-person Team Meeting
- Review Partner websites checking to see that Edun product listings, and photos are correct. Also, record the price offered to the consumer, and monitor competitor pricing and promos.
- Drive brand awareness, positive impressions, and sell through of Edun through various activations including but not limited to: in-store demos, dispensary events, community events, pop ups, curated brand events, micro-influencer drops, and festivals.
- Accurately and timely complete and submit end of shift reports online; expense reports (if applicable), photo submissions, etc.
- Attends initial training as well as possible ongoing monthly product training, team meetings, client training, etc.
- Track metrics and sales campaigns
- Properly manage organization and cleanliness of pop-up materials and podium, storage of such, product sheets, marketing assets, etc
- Restock assets prior to demo days
- Hand out Fliers to accounts and surrounding businesses to promote products, upcoming company events, promos, or new door pickups
- Perform other duties as assigned by Ownership & Sales Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- A reliable means of transportation and valid CO driver’s license that is not expired, suspended, or revoked, as demonstrated with MVR
- Carry full-coverage auto insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable public speaking in front of large and small audiences
- Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Ability to work a flexible schedule. Typical schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
- Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to travel
- Skilled in relationship building
- Excellent time-management skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License and personal vehicle
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Prior experience in a customer service environment
- State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
- 2 years of experience in events, retail, customer service, or related field
- Cannabis Industry experience highly preferred
- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
- Must have a current industry employee badge issued by the Colorado MED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work under diverse weather conditions
- Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods of time during samplings and events
- Ability to record accurate data
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, squat, and twist
