PRN Registered Nurse – Bullhead Access Surgery Center - AKDHC

Utilizing your compassionate nature, you will provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients per physician’s orders and assist during interventional and surgical operating room procedures. You will be expected to work Tuesdays and Thursdays, every week.
To thrive as the PRN Registered Nurse, you should have:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school.
- 2 years of acute or critical care experience is preferred in addition to experience with Conscious Sedation.
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse License, current certification in Basic Life Support, and current ACLS certification.
Additional responsibilities for the PRN Registered Nurse will include:
- Prepares patients for medical procedures, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Administers medications, including sedation, IV therapy, and other necessary therapeutic measures.
- Facilitates patient transfers to EMS and hospital facilities, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Maintains accurate medical records, including patient assessments and documentation of education provided.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA guidelines and participation in Quality Assurance (QA) programs.
