Responsibilities :
- Complete and troubleshoot Data Migration from old pc to new pc.
- Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals as needed during the upgrade.
- Set up, configure and add all required hardware during upgrade.
- Restore all user and configuration data from user’s backup.
- Migrate from Local domain to Global domain with script.
- Provide resolution of end user’s technical issues post migration.
- Assist in researching and documenting improvements to processes upon discovery.
- Handle the collection of devices and the Process of Adding/Removing them from Asset Management Storage and updating the Service Now tool with appropriate information.
- Experience in distribution of workstations through use of packaging and shipping services UPS/FedEx).
- Need to be able to work at the Frances Perkins building 5 days per week in order to perform all functions.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices to perform physical inventories of areas when required by customer.
- Ability to move large pallets of equipment for disposal and/or incoming devices for preparation of delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Strong working knowledge of core applications including Active Directory, Windows OS, Active
- Directory, Microsoft Office, and Imaging Software
- Previous Windows 10 upgrade project experience required (at least 1 year)Experience with standard technical support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines
- Able to follow procedures with little to no immediate supervision
- Ability to lift equipment up to 25 pounds.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
