We are an established, private-owned orthodontic office looking for a front office receptionist. We are looking to hire a long-term, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, and organized person. We have a great team and want someone who works well in team environments and is ready and willing to learn.
It's not necessary to have experience in the medical or dental fields, but experience with people and problem solving skills is a must. Other than being a team player and having a great disposition, it is also necessary to have the following skills:
Computer; phone etiquette; communication skills both verbal AND written (including correct grammar, spelling, punctuation; attention to detail; self-motivated; hardworking; honest; a willingness to learn and grow!
Responsibilities include ( but aren't limited to ):
- answering phone calls
- making appointments (using our software system)
- filing away paperwork(scanning into computer charts)
- checking and responding to emails (writing skills is a must)
- writing letters (writing skills is a must)
- taking payments, and etc.
