Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to clients, including positioning and repositioning to prevent pressure sores/injuries.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and oral care.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Practice infection control measures to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Document services provided accurately and promptly.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures at all times.
Experience:
- Experience in Pediatrics, Hospital medicine, Assisted living, Urgent care, Inpatient, Outpatient, or related healthcare settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, Hospice care, Basic life support (BLS), and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Nurse Aide from an accredited program.
- Clear Criminal Background Check and Abuse Registry Check.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to undergo orientation training and continuous professional development.
- Compassionate attitude towards clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Understanding of industry regulations and client needs.
