Summary:
The Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of the trade show and events strategy for the Centerbase Ecosystem. Reporting into the Director of Events & Experiences, the Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining association memberships and sponsorships, and managing event logistics and strategy from inception to execution. The Marketing and Events Coordinator will work with talented stakeholders across the business with the goal of hosting and participating in industry-leading events and experiences.
Responsibilities:

Strategically plan, organize, and execute the company's involvement in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and related industry events.

Conduct comprehensive research to pinpoint pertinent trade shows and events that align with our target market and business goals.

Coordinate all logistical aspects of each event, from booth layout and signage to promotional materials and equipment shipment.

Keep record of event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and implement cost-effective solutions.

Organize staffing requirements, schedule booth personnel, and provide guidance to team members attending events.

Handle travel logistics for the travel team, including hotel reservations.

Develop and manage a detailed itinerary for each event, ensuring smooth execution of all activities.

Arrange for necessary services such as WiFi and power, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality during events.

Conduct post-event assessments to gauge effectiveness, gather feedback, and suggest enhancements.

Maintain an updated calendar of upcoming trade shows and events, ensuring timely registration and material submission.

Remain abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and emerging opportunities in event marketing.

Conduct research for upcoming events, explore venue options, and source entertainment and transportation services.
Requirements:

3-5 years demonstrated experience in event coordination, preferably within the trade show or exhibition sector.

Exceptional organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and event attendees.

Detail-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering top-notch work.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
