Job Description
The Treatment Skin Boutique is looking for a Medical Assistant for our Skin Boutique. Our Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience from the time a patient enters our offices to the moment they leave. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical aesthetics, beauty and skin care, provide excellent customer service, be reliable and professional, and enjoy creating relationships with patients and other staff members. This is a full-time hourly position that includes weekend hours. This position requires no previous experience as our hiring team provides intensive training.
Job Responsibilities
- Introduce patients to our medical office and efficiently prepare them for their visit.
- Debrief medical providers of patient needs and concerns.
- Assist with medical procedures, including drawing up syringes and assisting with laser/surgical procedures.
- Ensure all exam rooms are up to par with medical standards throughout the day.
- Assist with patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments.
- Provide all patients with post-procedure care instructions, prescriptions, and other patient questions.
- Utilize company-provided electronics to access medical records and input notes, prescriptions, photos, etc. in our HIPAA compliant platforms.
- Take before and after photos for all patients.
- Ensure the patient has completed all necessary consent forms prior to procedure.
- Become familiar with skin care products, cosmetic procedures, and our company culture.
- Other duties as assigned.
