As the Senior Director of Credentialing, you will be the strategic leader responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the credentialing function within our organization. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the credentialing function, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the credentialing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Create an industry leading client experience that differentiates UnisLink from the competition and is characterized by flawless execution, proactive and timely communication and transparency in the credentialing process.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, accreditation standards, and industry best practices related to credentialing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing credentialing activities.
- Evaluate existing credentialing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancement utilizing best practices, technology, and innovative solutions.
- Establish quality assurance measures and performance metrics to monitor the accuracy and completeness of credentialing activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and support for credentialing initiatives.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and credentialing organizations, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to service level agreements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize value and quality.
- Develop and manage the budget for the credentialing department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the credentialing field.
- In-depth knowledge of credentialing processes, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, Joint Commission, CMS).
- Proven track record of strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational leadership.
- Demonstrated capability in leading a team to achieve excellence in performance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging technology for operational excellence in credentialing operations.

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (advanced degree ideal).
