We are seeking a creative and visionary Pastry Chef/Production Baker to join our crew, responsible for producing the highest quality homemade-from-scratch breads, pastries, desserts, cookies, cakes, pies, and more!
Pastry Chef/Production Baker Qualifications
- Must have at least five years’ commercial bread production and pastry experience; ServSafe Certification
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration
- Actively support a culture of safety which includes food safety, team member safety and customer safety
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of product consistency
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management; strong team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., and ability to push 150 to 250 lbs. on a rolling dolly
- Requires the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, walk frequently, bend, squat or reach

Pastry Chef/Production Baker Job Responsibilities
- Produce and bake loaves, baguettes, dinner rolls, donuts, desserts, and pastries from scratch
- Pastry decoration using icings, toppings, and artistic techniques
- Ensure adequate quantities of ingredients are in stock
- Daily kitchen/equipment preparation
- Measure and mix ingredients; mold and shape dough
- Maintain a clean work area; wipe down all counters and equipment
