We are an established law firm dedicated to representing individuals who have suffered personal injuries and those who have been wrongfully terminated. We are currently seeking to expand our team and are looking to add one attorney to our Personal Injury department as well as one attorney to our Employment department. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in negotiations and mediation in product liability, premises liability, and personal injury.
- For employment disputes - (PAGA, Wage and Hours, Wrongful termination,)
- Taking and defending expert deposition
- Drafting opposition to MSJ
- Responding and propounding discovery
- Drafting summons and complaint
- Drafting Motions (Compel, Quash, ...)
- Drafting Motion In Limine
- Trial skills are a plus, you will be trained as trial lawyer if interested.
- Acting as second chair in trial to senior trial counsel Brian Witzer
- Willing to learn and try the cases.
Ideal Candidate will possess:
· Minimum of two years' litigation experience in personal injury litigation and/or employment cases
· Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Ability to work in highly collaborative team environment.
- Federal court litigation and filing
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro, Excel, Power point, and Professional (Our office is fully paperless)
- Bilingual a plus.
Requirements:
- CA bar admission with "active" status required.
We offer a competitive starting salary. The position can be full-time or part-time.
