As a Pump Mechanic you must be able to support the overall workload of the Repair Center. You shall follow and support the Company policies and protect the assets associated with the operation. Your objective should be to support the Company’s ability to “meet the needs and expectations of the customers”.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pump Repair, Manufacturing and Production
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawing and work scopes.
- Sharpens tools. Reads and works from prints, process sheets, written and verbal instructions to tolerances of .0005”.
- Uses gauges, calipers, micrometers to measure work.
- Works with all metallic and non-metallic materials.
- Works with minimum supervision.
- Continuous standing and lifting of 5 to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to follow routine procedures.
- Must be able to disassemble, repair, reassemble and test recondition components.
- Must be able to fill out inspection reports.
- Must be able to use complex equipment requiring continuous attention.
- Must be able to make minor decisions.
- ***Must be available to travel for field service jobs as assigned ~15% of the time based on customers needs***
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Quality Assurance System – knowledge of ISO-9001:2008 and ability to train others on company procedures.
- Centrifugal Pumps – API-610, good knowledge of part types, use and manufacturing processes required to produce components.
- Part and Pump Drawings – capable of reading and interpreting engineered drawings.
- Must be able to routinely follow work orders and customer specifications with attention to quality.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working in a centrifugal pump repair shoprequired
Work Schedule Monday - Friday. Must be available for overtime, weekends, call-ins, etc. as needed to meet customer requirements. Pay is dependent upon experience.
