Overview:
As the Heavy Equipment Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, managing a team of skilled employees, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales, maintaining inventory, and fostering a positive work environment.

- Manages all aspects of the Application business for the assigned store location

Responsible for all after-sales activities necessary to support all the products sold by the Application business in the store locations assigned territory
- Lead the Parts, Service and Precision teams within the assigned store location to optimize the business

Provide management of all parts inventory levels, working with region parts inventory management on inventory control, inventory counts, and inventory inquiries

Track and audit service truck inventory on a quarterly basis
- Maintain organization of the parts and supplies within the parts department to enable quick location of items

Continually provide an exceptional customer experience by engaging employees and making timely, profitable, and customer-focused business decisions

Responsible for developing high-performing teams by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining capable, collaborative, and customer-focused employees at the assigned store location

Participate in knowledge sharing across the Company and the implementation of best practices at the assigned store location
- Ensure that company policies, procedures, and processes are being followed at the assigned store location, including but not limited to:
- Ensuring all transactions are conducted in an ethical manner and per company process

Managing performance and employment decisions per company policy and procedure
-
Implementing and upholding company environmental, health and safety programs, policies and procedures
- Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of vendor policies and procedures

Manage the receiving, shipping, and storage of freight as needed while making decisions regarding shipments that will benefit both customers and the company

Oversee receiving, preparing, and setup of new, used, and rental equipment along with Application business manufactured products
- Drive team first culture through coordinating collaborative customer support activities with all departments at the location and strive for incremental growth within all aspects of managing a store location Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments

Qualifications:
Required:
-
3 + years related experience and/or related military experience
- Ability to obtain a forklift operator certificate
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate high performing teams of employees to achieve successful financial and operational results

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated client service skills and the ability to develop strong business relationships

Demonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills

Demonstrated sales skills including the ability to sell opportunities, ideas, and concepts

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently

Keen attention to detail and high level of initiative, and ability to work independently

Strong computer and analytical skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to do same day travel up to 50% with occasional overnight travel

Ability to work flexible hours as business/customer needs require

Excellent understanding of financial statements and ability to develop and manage operating budgets

Ability to handle and resolve interpersonal conflict

Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
