Duties
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property operations
- Handle property leasing and tenant relations, including showing units, screening applicants, and preparing lease agreements
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and vacancies
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants and maximize occupancy rates
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee necessary repairs and renovations
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
Experience
- 2 Years experience in property management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices and ability to coordinate repairs
- Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software for tracking tenant interactions and inquiries
- Basic understanding of sales principles for promoting available units and maximizing occupancy rates
- Experience with facilities management and knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for creating reports and correspondence
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite for managing leases, rent collection, and maintenance requests
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to rental properties
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules
