Privately owned and managed apartment community seeking an immediate full-time Assistant Property Manager. This individual will be responsible for assisting management with day-to-day operations including but not limited to collecting rents, serving notices, answering phones, texts, and emails, touring prospects, marketing, leasing, inspections of units, coordinating maintenance requests with the maintenance team, processing rental applications, moving residents in/out, handling disputes. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm with an hour lunch break. This is an in-person position located in SE Portland.
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of experience in multifamily property management preferred, but not required
- Personal vehicle, driver’s license and auto insurance required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to speak, read and write in English; Additional languages preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn new programs as needed
- Represent company in a positive and professional manner at all times
