DISHWASHER/PORTER
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent, Full-time
COMPENSATION: Hourly position: $16/hour
Salary review: every 12 months
Share of Employee Bonus Fund (average $2.50-3.00/hr)
SCHEDULE: Forty hours per week
Tuesday - Sunday - 5 X 8hr shifts per week.
Includes paid 30 minute lunch break
Schedule may change with advance notice

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Dishwashers and porters are essential to the successful operation of Talbott & Arding.
The main tasks are machine and hand washing all kitchen wares, bakery wares, serving platters, and utensils. Dishwashers and Porters also sort and restock clean items back into the kitchen for use.
Dishwashers/Porters are responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchens, taking out the trash and sweeping the floors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A working understanding of English and the ability to follow directions.
- Must be able to work calmly, safely and respect your co-workers.
- Must be able to stand and work for shifts of 8 hours
- Must be available to work holidays and weekends to cover shifts if necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Works cleanly and maintains a professional appearance at all times.
