Job Summary
The basic function of the Guest Service Expert is to provide support for Salon Company and Staff. Our salon Company is constantly growing and we are looking for an individual the has the willingness and adaptability to grow with us.
Responsibilities and Duties
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete all areas outlined for this position in a satisfactory manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements of this position.
- Phone skills – the commitment to using our branded scripts: unique phone greeting, making appointments, confirmation calls, rescheduling, answering questions regarding services, pricing, level system, handling upset guests, all with professionalism and using our customized scripts when applicable.
- Coordinate the daily flow of customer scheduling, servicing, and check out.
- Greeting Guests – You are the face of the Salon Company, greeting all guests as they arrive and checking them in while communicating current specials and promotions.
- Quick decision maker/Flexible.
- Self-motivated with the drive to undertake productive activities during slower periods of business. There is always something to do!
- The ability to build and maintain positive, healthy interpersonal relationships with other team members.
- Understand and apply verbal instructions in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Learn and effectively use salon’s computer system and salon management software.
- Run a front desk area in an efficient manner and help maintain the overall cleanliness of the Salon.

- You will have personal sales goals and incentives for meeting them. Each Guest Service Expert is responsible for focus and effort in tracking and hitting their monthly goals by being consistent with scripting and offerings. When goals are met, rewards are given monthly.
- Sell - in person and over the phone. Following through with Salon’s recommended scripts and procedures for Upselling Services, Specials & Promotions, offering retail/homecare options, scheduling next visit, offering more service choices to upgrade the guest experience.
- Introducing guests to our gift card, loyalty & referral programs
Qualifications and Skills
While prior salon experience is great, it is not required. We are looking for personality and professionalism, we can teach you how to apply these skills in a salon environment. If you believe in providing an excellent customer experience then - let’s talk!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
