Specimen Collection: Nurse will provide screening specimen collection for COVID 19 and other diseases / condition as becomes necessary, under the supervision of the Endemic Clinic Manager. Other specimen collections such as blood, tissue, stool, and urine will be conducted per provided protocol. All actives will be charted and recorded in accordance with the most recent policies, directives, SOP's, standards of work, and Nurse Manager orders. These activities may be conducted in hospital, clinic, or field environments.
Vaccinations: Nurse will provide vaccination services, performing all duties to published Standards of Work, polices, SOP's, directives, and Nurse Manager orders. All items will be charted and recorded in accordance with same. These activities may be conducted in hospital, clinic, or field environments.
Screening: Nurse will provide screening activities including interviews, administered scripted questions, and all actions as defined by the most recent policies, directives, SOP's, standards of work, and Nurse Manager orders.
In patient care: Nurse will be eligible to be floated to in patient units to provide basic care within their scope and skill set. Nurse will make known to shift supervisor (Charge RN, Manager, etc) any limit or skill not up to standard with safety of themselves and the patients in mind; and will not attempt without proper supervision or training. . Activities including phone communications, vital sign collection & recording, appointment management, coordination with treatment teams, EKG's, physical head to toe and or area specific exams, as well as dressing changes, charting, and customer service per ICARE values.
Clinic environment outside of Endemic area: Nurse will be eligible to be floated to in or assigned into PACT, Surgical, and or Specialty Clinics to provide basic care within their scope and skill set. Emergency Dept. Activities: Nurse will conduct regular activity every pay period in emergency department environment. Nurse will function within training, scope, and established skillset with professionalism. Nurse will perform any activity, treatment, exam, and or procedure within their scope and current competency. . Nurse will make known to shift supervisor (Charge RN, Manager, etc) any limit or skill not up to standard with safety of themselves and the patients in mind; and will not attempt without proper supervision or training.
TMS & Training: Nurse will complete all assigned TMS, virtual, teams, and physical training within the allotted time.

V. ON-GOING EDUCATION AND TRAINING/COMPETENCY VALIDATION Basic Life Support (BLS) required for RNs in direct patient care positions per policy. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required in specific specialty areas and assignments per policy. Incumbent will be self-directed in completing orientation and on-going mandatory education. Will actively participate in annual competency assessment and validation.
