Job Summary:
The Office Assistant will perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Complete functions such as: Maintenance, Mailing, Supplies, Equipment, Bills, Errands, Shipping, etc.
· Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary
· Assist with booking meeting rooms, conference calls, travel, and appointments
· Organize the office layout and order stationery and required equipment
· Keep breakroom and conference rooms tidy and orderly, restocking and ordering supplies as needed.
· Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
· Occasionally request PO’s and submit receipts in accordance with Finance procedures
· Provide general support to visitors
· Address employee queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
· Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services
· Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent computer skills and Microsoft software knowledge
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent with 1-year prior office support experience
· Hands on experience with office machines and scheduling tools
Other Requirements:
· Ability to work and interact with all levels of personnel
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.37 - $22.12 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
