We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control & Assurance (QC/QA) Manager and Program Manager to lead our quality initiatives and manage our large-scale, multi-year projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC position, with a proven track record of managing complex projects involving numerous stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Assurance:
- Manage QC/QA processes, ensuring all testing for production is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure all equipment is in working order and calibration requirements are met.
- Oversee a QC/QA technician, with potential to grow and expand the team.
- Mentor employees and provide career growth opportunities.
- Initiate non-conformance protocols and resolve issues.
Project Management:
- Oversee large, multi-year projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with external contractors to complete technical work.
- Ensure projects meet deliverables and milestones.
- Write and distribute monthly and quarterly progress reports.
- Update Gantt charts and execution strategies regularly.
ISO AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 Program Management:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO AS9100 certification.
- Conduct internal audits and manage the Quality Manual.
- Keep work instructions and standard operating procedures up to date and relevant.
Operations Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations to ensure products are produced correctly the first time.
- Utilize statistical process control and lean six sigma (LSS) principles to analyze production results and improve cycle times and product quality.
- Use statistical software such as Minitab or JMP for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role, managerial experience is preferred.
- Proven experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of ISO AS9100 standards and requirements.
- Familiarity with statistical software (Minitab or JMP).
- Experience in mentoring and team management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to write detailed progress reports and update project plans effectively.
