We are seeking an ARCHITECT PROJECT MANAGER to manage our permit review process.
In this position, you will:
- Manage the permit review process and technical plan reviews.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and clients.
- Assign technical plan reviews to appropriate staff.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide QA/QC for design calculations and drawings
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on review status and address any issues or concerns.
- Stay informed about changes to building codes, and other relevant laws that may impact the permitting process.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 20 years of architectural experience
- 5 years Project Manager experience
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of architectural projects
- Knowledge of other disciplines and directs interdisciplinary coordination
- Detailed knowledge of building codes and industry standards, including ADA
- Ability to work in the office five days a week
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Licensed architect
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- LEED accreditation is preferred
- PMP certification a plus
