Job Summary:
The Interrupter Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. This will include compiling and evaluating data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. This person will also need to maintain good oral and written communication with all departments.
Essential Responsibilities:

Interprets engineering drawings, specifications, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or the engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

Uses various precision measuring tools to inspect both purchased and processed goods.

Inspects products to determine compliance with order specifications and the company's quality assurance

system.
- Verify shipping and packing compliance to specified standards.

Recommend modifications to existing quality and/or production standards to achieve optimum quality.

Inspects purchased products or components and provides input and data to responsible departments.

Select products for tests at specified stages in the production process.
- Verify product compliance, such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical or electrical characteristics.

Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and

procedures.

Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance audits.

Mark approval or rejection of the product and write a report of the audit details.

Conduct moisture, purity, and leak analysis of interrupter products.

Assists with training and certification of new interrupter assembly operators.

Assists with the development of work instructions and procedures for interrupter assembly.

Monitors and enforces compliance with clean room and interrupter assembly requirements.

Assists with disassembly and root cause analysis on returned or non-conforming interrupter devices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience equivalent.

Experience: 2+ years of related work experience or training.
- Ability to write reports and procedures.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and apply the results to practical situations.
Preferred Qualifications:-
Experience: 5+ years of experience in the manufacture of machined or fabricated products, with machining experience.
- Knowledge of Database software, Manufacturing software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
