SUMMARY
Tellers provide a variety of financial transactions and services to customers, help customers with questions and banking needs. Identify opportunities to offer customers new or better options from UCB’s broad array of financial services. Ensuring that transactions are handled accurately, that procedures to safeguard both bank and customer assets are followed, and the good customer relations are built through excellent service are important and essential elements of the teller position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1 year of customer service experience

1 year of cash handling experience

Successful completion of required Teller Certification Training Program as outlined by levels

Successful completion of on-the-job training program

Above average verbal and communication skills

Basic math/reasoning skills

Attention to detail

Excellent work ethic

Time management skills

Ability to exercise good judgment and learn detailed procedures

Good computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as adding machines, calculators, and typewriters

In certain locations, the teller position may be required to support other locations in their region. Travel may be required.
Teller II - Job Functions:

Provide excellent customer service

Accurately process banking transactions

Adhere to all security procedures and follow operational bulletins

Participate in United’s core deposit initiatives; make referrals when appropriate

Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs

POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
