Warehouse Associate:
The Warehouse Associate is in charge of loading & unloading materials utilizing a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. They are to maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify any discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest.
Essential Function:
- Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks
- Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products, and other like duties must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
- Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including all TSA and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies:
- Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material
- Experience using an RF scan gun is required
- Previous forklift certifications preferred
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
- Must have the ability to work well with others
- High attention to detail required
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
Pay Range: $18 -$21 - Depending on shift
Shift: 1st shift - 10 AM - 6:30 PM 2nd shift - 3PM - 11:30PM
Customer Service Associate:
Customer Service is responsible for providing customer service to all callers. They answer incoming calls and troubleshoot any issues. They assist pilot stations and cartage agents.
Essential Functions:
- Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received through email
- Make outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues and update customers
- Track, trace, enter and update shipments
- Assist and support Pilot stations and cartage agents
- Master outside customer applications
- Follow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management’s attention
- Provide customers with quotes in a timely manner, as well as various routing options
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
- Technological aptitude using the internet and on-line tools
- High energy with the ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail
Pay Range: $20 - $22hr Shift: 10AM - 6PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
