Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Conduct patient intake, including vital signs and medical history
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by the provider
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory testing
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory analysis
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and exam rooms
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, venipuncture, and clinical laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred but not required
