About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HOA Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of HOAs, ensuring the smooth operation and resident satisfaction within each community. You will serve as a liaison between the HOA Board of Directors, homeowners, and vendors, fostering positive relationships and effectively managing all aspects of the HOA communities.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with HOA Boards, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage homeowner inquiries and requests, maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of common areas within HOA communities, including soliciting bids, scheduling vendors, and ensuring quality work.
- Enforce HOA rules and regulations, addressing violations fairly and diplomatically.
- Prepare Board meeting packets and attend meetings, taking minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Review and interpret HOA governing documents to answer homeowner questions and mediate minor disputes.
- Manage HOA budgets and financial records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Conduct regular property inspections and document any maintenance needs or violations.
- Stay up-to-date on California Fair Housing Laws and HOA regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property management or a related field, with a focus on HOAs preferred.
- Strong understanding of HOA operations and governing documents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Property management software experience a plus.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with HOA Boards and homeowners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
