Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our retail store. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Store Manager in daily tasks, ensuring excellent customer service, and optimizing sales performance to drive business success.
Duties:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management
- Assist in employee orientation, training, and development programs
- Collaborate with the management team in recruiting and interviewing potential candidates
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stock shortages
- Utilize POS systems effectively to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in payroll processing and maintaining accurate records
- Implement strategies to enhance sales performance and meet revenue targets
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage staff assignments for optimal coverage
Skills:
- Experience in retail management or a related field is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus to cater to a diverse customer base
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other retail software applications
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated skills in interviewing, coaching, and mentoring employees
- Prior experience in shift management or supervisory roles is advantageous
