Overview:
M Health Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Woodwinds hospital in Woodbury, MN! This position offers 64 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible! Pay starts at $20.01 an hr.
Summary: To prepare food according to guidelines, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and/or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation and service.

- Monday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Tuesday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Wednesday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Saturday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Sunday: 11:00am-7:30pm
Week 2
- Wednesday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Thursday: 11:00am-7:30pm
- Friday: 11:00am-7:30pm
Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards

Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes

Prepares food in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques

Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met

Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames

Practices proper infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies

Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays

Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and/or nourishments to patients and nursing unit

Performs a variety of cafeteria and/or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation
