We have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Treasury and Financial Risk Management. This individual will lead the functional efforts of treasury and Financial Risk Management for Wealth Enhancement.
The targeted salary range is $185-$195K; this role is also eligible for a corporate bonus and equity.
We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions
Treasury Management:
Oversee cash forecasting and cash flow analysis to support capital allocation and strategic decision-making.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks, lenders, internal counterparts and credit teams at private equity partners.
Collaborate with M&A team on key cash flow items related to deal economics
Develop and implement treasury strategies and policies to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Monitor daily cash positions and execute cash management strategies to meet the company’s financial needs.
Oversee Earnout processes and communications partnering with key partners including advisor services and compliance.
Financial Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, market risk, liquidity risk and business risks (flows, demographics).
Develop and implement financial risk management policies and procedures.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of capital markets and economic trends to inform risk management strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s risk appetite.
Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing treasury and risk management team.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness within the department.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with debt covenant compliance requirements and reporting
Support regulatory reporting for registered entities
Prepare regular reports for senior management and board of directors on treasury and risk management activities, including cash flow, liquidity, solvency, hedging, risk exposure and performance metrics.
Education/Qualifications
Requires a 4-years degree in finance, accounting or related field
10+ year track record of driving results in a growth environment
Must be able to communicate and manage relationships sr. leadership across all departments
Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring team members
Exhibit solid thought leadership and problem-solving capabilities
Must actively pursue opportunities to increase visibility and value delivered throughout organization
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. with an aptitude to learn new software
