We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with state standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters children's curiosity and creativity
- Provide individualized attention to each child's needs, interests, and abilities
- Assess children's progress and communicate with parents about their child's development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and parent communication
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
Experience:
- Associates degree with 6 hours of child development college courses
- At least some experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Strong knowledge of child welfare practices and regulations
- Ability to teach basic math concepts to young children
- Experience tutoring or providing additional support to children with special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with physical education activities for young children
