About the Job:
This job is about creating insight, problem-solving, getting things done, and supporting sales. We are ready to add a Financial Analyst-Fixed Asset to our team who can tag, record, track, and reconcile with timely and accurate information on our Fixed Assets for leadership.
Things You’ll Do (Just a Sampling):
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
- Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
- Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
- Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
Things You’ll Need to Qualify (No Fudging Allowed):
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, is strongly preferred.
- Experience in business, finance, or accounting. Recent grads with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles Strong quantitative and detail orientation.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting Strong proficiency in Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Indirect Cell Referencing).
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
