Job Summary:
We are a Cannabis Micro Cultivator facility seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Technician to join our team. As a Kitchen Technician, you will be responsible for following production schedules and recipes for creation of edible products.
Responsibilities:
- Must comply with all local & state health codes
- Must comply with all Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) regulations.
- Set up all necessary equipment for daily production.
- Cook edibles batches, ensuring batches are infused with proper distillate.
- Demold products from candy molds and store batches once cooled in proper storage containers.
- Record batch weights & pertinent information in the internal tracking systems
- Alerting Lead, Supervisor or Manager that daily batches are ready to be entered in Biotrack the State regulated “seed to sale” tracking system.
- Break down equipment after production and following sanitation guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize all tools and equipment used in production and packaging.
- Package edible products once approved in their final packaging form.
Experience:
- At least 1 year kitchen experience or confectionary manufacturing preferred but willing to train.
Required:
- Must pass background check to receive license from Department of Consumer Protection.
- Impeccable work ethic and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
