Responsible for assisting with in-service programs, orientation skills day for nurses, and other staff in all clinical areas throughout the hospital. Serves as a resource person to staff and management. Participates in performance improvement activities as needed. Assists with hospital orientation and employee health nurse as needed.
Required Licenses
Registered Nurse
Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.
Minimum Work Experience
Current clinical experience.
A minimum of three years experience as a Clinical Instructor preferred.

Certifications:
Required certifications must be obtained through a LCRH approved program:
- Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS required, PALS, and/or ACLS preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
