In operation since 2017, we’re a fast-growing company comprised of hard-working, passionate, diverse team members. We’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our team! This position reports directly to the Company's CEO
About the Role
Roomrs is looking for a full-time senior interior designer, this role will oversee all steps in our deisng process. In this hands-on role, the senior interior designer will manage procurements
Core Responsibilities
In 1-2 business days, prepare an FF&E package for new 3-6 bedroom shared apartments, including specifications and our design and production standards.
Design & Planning
- Measure and photo document the site
- Draw Floorplan in AutoCAD
- Budgeting & Furniture plan selection
- Create an InDesign presentation based on the company template and submit for approval
- Update FF&E order sheet
- Schedule installation team, furniture delivery, and photography services
Procurement
- Place orders for FF&E and OS&E
- Track orders to ensure project deadlines are being met
Installation (after Roomrs purchases and delivers FF&E to the unit)
- Overseen unit installation
- Punch list
- Stage apartment for photography
About You
- AAS, BA or MA in Interior Design
- M.Arch, B.Arch with substantial FF&E experience
- Minimum of +5 years of experience in all phases of contemporary, high-profile design, preferably in hospitality, workplace, co-living or co-working design
- Professional proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Excel
- Excellent color sense
- Ability to faithfully reproduce brand standard design
- Able to work independently and in a team, solve unexpected problems with ingenuity, manage time efficiently, and think micro and macro.
- Experience working in a fast-growth environment. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment without well-worn paths or established protocols

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
