Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will prospect, position, specify and nurture differentiated Morin Architectural Single Element Metal Roof and Wall Panel (Morin Systems) opportunities with the goal of delivering value to territory customers that result in highest margin sale. Expand the use of Morin Systems by developing and establishing new transactional customers and identifying new markets to exceed sales and growth objectives. Position reports to the National Sales Director.
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain relationships with key industry decision makers including architects, designers, general contractors and specifiers, to promote demand of Morin Systems.
· Seek out and develop new customer network and grow existing customers within territory.
· Use AIA presentations as an educational opportunity to develop new project specification opportunities, increase network, add value, educate, and to promote Morin Systems.
· Promote and sell Morin Systems to approved sub-contractors/installers in the assigned territory.
· Use Salesforce (CRM), as a workflow and quoting tool, daily to effectively plan and manage sales territory, grow database of architects, and maintain current customer information. Focus on managing opportunity pipeline and recording daily activity. Generate and issue quotations to customers.
Requirements
· Demonstrated sales success in the commercial architectural market, experience managing a multi-million-dollar territory, with an emphasis on technical, design oriented exterior wall cladding solutions given top priority.
· Domestic Travel within the territory approximately 3-4 days per week; will require some overnight trips per month.
· Possess an overall positive attitude, an active interest for architectural design, and a professional appearance.
· Full confidence and trust in Morin Systems and the value each bring to architects and customers.
· Comprehensive understanding of the specification selling process and thrives on the direct promotion of Morin Systems to architects, building owners, engineering firms and contractors.
· Captivating and natural presentation skills.
· Proficient with MS Office Suite and CRM Applications; Salesforce a plus. Well organized and structured.
Qualifications
· 3 years commercial architectural façade products sales experience – Business to Business (B2B).
· Ideal candidate will have education and experience (3-5 years) as an Architect, Architectural Designer or Façade Engineer who then decided to transition into a more outgoing sales role within the industry.
· Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related degree.
· Prior architectural metal façade cladding design, fabrication, and installation experience is a plus.
