Summary of Job Duties:
Assist Guests with the purchase of items, as well as stocking and inventory control of items in the Retail Shop, and Retail storage room.
Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Greet customers entering establishments
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
- Resolve customer complaints
- Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies
- Merchandising and constructing and tearing down displays
- Check for proper identification of a patron appearing to be under the age of 30 years old

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Maintain a high level of collaboration inside and outside of the Retail Division
- Ability to operate a Retail POS system
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Six (6) months Retail Sales experience
- Six (6) months of inventory control experience
- Six (6) months Cash Handling experience
- Bilingual
- Experience in a similar hotel setting
