Position: Technical Project Manager
Location: New York City, NY - (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
- Project Manager/ Scrum Master with Java Background
- Lead and assist in the management of technology projects within Investment Technology, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Candidate should come from technical background and candidates had technical background in Java and managed Java projects in recent times.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Maintain and manage project scorecards in Daptiv, ensuring all project metrics are accurately recorded and monitored.
- Oversee project budgets and resource allocations, adjusting as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Prepare and update slides and presentations for key senior-level meetings, ensuring all data and content are presented clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across investment technology and other departments to ensure project alignment and integration.
- Utilize advanced project management skills to address complex problems, guide project scope, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Strong experience with project management tools such as Daptiv, JIRA or Asana.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Time Management: Expertise in managing time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to clearly convey project goals, updates, and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proficient in resolving issues swiftly and efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
