HOTEL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
CANDIDATE MUST LIVE ON SITE AT THE HOTEL AS BARTER TO WORK FOR LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. ADDITIONAL HOURS TO BE PAID
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Basic Plumbing
Knowledge of Basic Electrical
Knowledge of Flooring
Experience with general maintenance tools
Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting and carpentry
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Available to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Able to work independently without having to be reminded of responsibilities
Must live on property working partial hours for room
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic maintenance of the entire hotel including all common areas as well as guest rooms
Preventive maintenance of all guest rooms
Routine repairs
Repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, laundry equipment, pool equipment
Carpentry
Painting & Drywall
Repairs of bathroom plumbing fixtures, sinks, faucets, tubs, caulking, leaks
Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacement
Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (lawn care, gardening & painting)
Custodial Duties
Change Door Locks
Effectively Communicate with Guests and All Staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
