Job Description:
Position Summary: The Design Coordinator will play a pivotal role with our design team, working closely with designers, clients, and our project management team to ensure that all design elements are executed. This position requires a highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks from various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating all phases of design projects from initial client consultation to final installation.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their vision is accurately captured and executed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, internal project management team, and other contractors to ensure cohesive and seamless project execution.
- Scheduling: Manage project timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met and projects stay on schedule.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, material specifications, and progress reports.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to procure materials, schedule deliveries, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a design coordination role or similar.
- Proficiency in design software (2020, Chief Architecture, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction and remodeling processes is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
