Duties:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform complex accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial report interpretation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Conduct audits to identify potential financial discrepancies or irregularities
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients based on their individual needs and goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or other relevant platforms to manage financial data
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide guidance on tax planning strategies
- Conduct internal control assessments to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required
- Proven experience working as a Certified Public Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, ADP, accrual accounting, governmental accounting, and corporate accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage or PeopleSoft
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams

Pay: $147,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
