* Provide status update
of projects with current, future and completed tasks.
* Supervise Mechanics and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
* Responsible for reviewing and submitting Mechanic Time Sheets to Fleet Manager for approval.
* Responsible for Shop Opening and Closing Procedures.
* Train and develop Mechanics.
* Responsible for obtaining requests for parts.
* Source best suppliers based on price, availability, and service.
* Coordinate parts pickups and deliveries.
* Create Purchase Order in Fleet Software and order parts based on research.
* Verify and record parts being received into work order through Fleet Software.
* Ensure that completed work orders are closed out with accurate labor and parts allocated.
* Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and bringing creative ideas for intended projects.
* Responsible for staying up to date on the current uptrend for vehicle restorations.
* Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in vehicles and determine method of repair.
* Perform minor welding (TIG & MIG).
* Create quality modifications to exterior, interior and powertrain.
* Perform “hands on” mechanical work.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Fleet Manager.
*Skills:*
* Minimum 5-years’ experience as a mechanic in “restomod” or custom work preferred.
* Minimum 2-years’ experience supervising Mechanics preferred.
* Must have necessary Mechanic tools to perform job duties.
* Must have good leadership and communication abilities.
* Must have knowledge of repair and overhaul practices for classic vehicles and modern technology.
* Must have the ability to diagnose and test for malfunctions in motor vehicles.
* Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
* Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems.
* Must have the ability to perform minor non-certified welding tasks.
* Must have the ability to interpret manuals and schematics.
* Must have the ability to prepare and maintain accurate records.
* Must be able to lift 75lb.
* Must have the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
* Must have the ability to read, interpret and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
* Must pass the company’s Driver Approval Process required.
* Must pass required drug test required.

Pay: $62,400.00 - $80,000.00 per year
