Clinical Digital Innovation Fellow | Remote-US
About Us!
Kooth is a fast-growing organization with a social purpose. After 20 years of successful services in the UK, we are rapidly expanding in the United States!
OUR MISSION: To provide welcoming and effective digital mental health support to students proactively.
Using the collective insight from nearly 1 million hours of professional intervention, we guide students to three areas of evidenced-based support: self-guided, community/peer interactions, and chat-based counseling provided by licensed Counselors. These areas of assistance are designed to match each individual student’s current needs, wants and goals as well as identify and refer to a higher level of care when needed.
We are excited to announce that we are establishing a fellowship at Kooth for individuals with experience in service delivery or clinical oversight, to work within the product team 2 days per week for one year.
Fellows will embed with the product, design, user research, content, research/evaluation and data science teams to ensure product features and algorithms are informed by clinical expertise. Fellows will be expected to proactively identify areas for clinical improvement in Soluna and Omega, and to generate the scripts or logic for features with a clinical purpose, with support from the product team.
During the one-year fellowship, fellows will receive one hour of teaching from members of these teams per week, and their personal development goals will be agreed, and periodically reviewed, with a senior member of the team to help ensure they receive the learning most valuable to them about these specialties. It is expected that at the end of the fellowship, fellows should have acquired sufficient experience and knowledge to pursue further opportunities in clinical product work.
Successful applicants will need to dedicate two working days to the fellowship per week, and therefore may need to reduce their hours on service delivery / clinical - this has been agreed with the relevant team leads.
Compensation for the fellowship is $60,000 pro rata, i.e. $24,000 per annum for 2 days/week.
For 2024/2025, only US based applicants will be considered.
