Job Title: Crew Supervisor
Location: LeRoy, MI
Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hr
Job Description: As a Crew Supervisor in Leroy, MI, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the worksite. Your primary role will involve leading a Crew of various sizes to ensure the job is done correctly. Hours currently are four 10-hour days/ week with the possibility of overtime. Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
- Inspect work progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
- Attend regular site meetings to provide updates on project status and discuss any challenges or changes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Team Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
