Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Downing Insurance Agency Inc, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about insurance products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and empathy
- Provide accurate information about insurance policies, coverage details, and claims procedures
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable insurance plans based on their needs
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations efficiently and accurately
- Utilize effective communication skills to address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to follow up on customer inquiries and promote new products
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer information in the database
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling insurance products
Qualifications:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of insurance products and terminology is advantageous
