Job Summary:
We are an Aerospace subcontractor in Orange County, an AS9100 certified company, seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector/ Tester (Full-Time Position)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established quality standards through inspections and audits.
Duties:
1. Perform In-Process Inspections
2. Perform Final Inspections
3. Review all final documentation work order build package for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment.
4. Assist in testing of assembly’s
· Participate in production meetings
· Program Auto Tester
· Data Input
· Participation in customer meetings –
· Continuous improvement of existing procedures and processes – All personnel are required to participate in a continuous improvement effort to review and question procedures that pertain to their area.
· Prepare First Article Reports (FAI) on AS9102 form review & approval
· Assist in reviewing documentation and request Final source inspection.
· Verify, confirm and sign-off on job package paperwork and crimp settings
· In the absence of shipping/receiving QA or when required, the Quality Control Inspector/Tester shall cover the shipping/receiving person in the areas of stock pulls, kitting, shipping and receiving.
· Create NCR’s for internal and customer as they relate to production
· Inspect and maintain F.O.D. Procedure P-07-05-09 requirements in production areas
· ISO/AS9100 involvement
· Inspect facility monthly for expired material or residual expired material on production floor.
· Clear understanding of all safety practices, and proper use of safety equipment provided.
· Is expected to seek assistance or clarification when needed from Supervisor.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control and inspection processes
- Familiarity with quality management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment like micrometers
- Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies and techniques

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Technical school or equivalent or on the job training
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Production & Quality Testing
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of company Quality Management System, Procedures, Systems and Processes
- Mechanical ability and knowledge with production equipment
- Computer skills Required
- Ability to read drawings and wire schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
