- The PM shall serve within the HHS Division with a focus on Strategic Initiatives.
- The contractor will play a key role across the HHS Division including Strategy, Project Management, and Integration Management.
- The PM will achieve this by actively owning management of small to mid-sized projects, which may include conducting analyses to solve business problems, and developing strategic business cases, workplans, and/or recommending new operational plans for Business.
- Additionally, the PM will support the success of the HHS Division by mentoring other team members and developing strong relationships with partners across the District.
- All duties are to be performed in accordance with the DCAS Program Management Administration policies, practices, and procedures.
- The PM leads planning and management of small to mid-sized organizational initiatives and activities, including conducting analyses, building business cases, developing project and operational management plans, and driving execution.
- Supports development of HHS teams to foster collaboration, and effectively conveys and expresses ideas in writing and verbally to individuals and groups, including senior leaders.
- Develops timelines and detailed workplans to create structure for initiative teams to plan and coordinate activities and resources.
- Develops recommendations based on data from multiple stakeholders, and leverages data to support and inform timely, effective decisions.
- Develop, produce, and deliver executive presentations, program updates, and set and articulate goals and timelines to executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter- related project tasks.
- Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
