Executive Media Global, a niche magazine publisher in New York City, seeks an experienced advertising sales executive for an RV magazine that focuses heavily on outdoor adventure and the stories of travel. ROVA is now the longest-running independent RV publication on the market, and since its inception in 2017 it has seen continuous, organic growth in both newsstand and subscription sales.
We seek an advertising sales representative who has experience in or comprehensive knowledge of the RV, van life and outdoors industries, to help us to capitalize on our growth. We require a representative who will focus on the equipment and accessories that align with this type of travel: think bikes, climbing ropes, hiking boots, camp blankets, camp stoves... the possibilities are endless!
This is a remote position, and remuneration is commission only. The wage range in this advertisement is an indication of what you could earn, but there is no limit—the more you sell, the more you will be paid.
Candidates must:
- Have prior experience in print advertising sales
- Have experience in RV/outdoors print ad sales
- Be able to work from home
- Be self-starters, able to self-motivate when working in the home environment
- Be phone sellers—articulate, engaging and persuasive
- Be comfortable using, or learning, a CRM (for example, HubSpot, Salesforce) to track goals.
