Sales Manager
The Sales Manager will be charged with meeting sales quotas through executing sales resources including but not limited to; in-store sales, local store marketing, telemarketing, business to business relationships and community relationships.
The position performs a wide variety of functions at the direction of the General Manger, assisting and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional and profitable operations. This role may be asked to fill in for the General Manager during her/his absence.
Training will be provided through the proprietary Buddy’s University training program.

Sales Managers generally work 40 hours per week. The schedule is typically Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (10a to 7p) and Saturday (9a to 6p) with a 60 minute lunch break but hours may fluctuate around these times.
Principal Responsibilities
· Acquire and Maintain Customers
· Support customer growth through internal and external marketing
· Act as a customer liaison who resells the benefits of timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments
· Assist in managing store personnel; may direct activities of one or more employees
· Compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes
· Decipher, prepare and review store reports
· Ensure company standards for renewals, delinquencies and store collections are satisfied
· Manage customer accounts

· Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone
· Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor
· Must have proficient navigational skills
· Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50‐300 pounds
· Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required
· Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics
· Prolonged driving and standing
· Must be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions
· Ability to work Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8am and 9pm
· Overtime may be required
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (MVR) required
· Ability to successfully pass company background check, substance abuse test, and acceptable reference check from previous employers
· Position is subject to a 90 day probationary period
Education and Experience
- 2 years experience in sales, credit, or as a delivery technician
- Rent to Own Experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- Long term (4+ years) Clark County resident preferred
- Some coursework in marketing, sales, finance, accounting or management preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old or older

· Recruiting, hiring, and training to ensure efficient operations
· Setting goals and conducting weekly staff meetings
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
